I thought that maybe the wax had either burned me or it had actually ripped off some of my skin. I texted my best-friend who had a sister that's an Aesthetician and said the wax probably burned my skin and to pul aloe on it. I immediately went outside to our aloe vera plant (thank you dad) and applied the area with the horribly smelling goopey stuff (see picture two). By the end of the night it looked like picture three. I did go back to the salon the day after it happened and the two ladies were not helpful at all. They said it would heal and it looked fine. So for the next few days I continually applied Neosporin and Vitamin E to my beauty wound. Last night the whole red stuff peeled off and my eyelids look brand new and there was no scar! :) It is safe to say I will NEVER get an eyebrow wax again in my life...
A little side note: The same day this all happened my prince charming of a man brought me a little surprise! There was this pair or Ray-Ban sunglasses that I really loved but couldn't bring myself to purchase them. Danny said he ordered them for me a few days before and they came at obviously the perfect time. Lets just say I didn't take them off for the next three days!
P.S. This is a cool blog about redefining beauty! I found it helpful while thinking about why women torture themselves to look a certain way.
